78 kz650c2. So i just installed my wheels and a new front brake master cylinder( original master didnt have enough clearance on new clubmans) and for some reason, when i tried to bleed the brakes there was no pressure building up, almost no pressure at all when i squeezed the lever. so i tried with the oringinal cylinder and encountered the same problem. I then disconnected the lines from the caliper, and when i squeezed, fluid only dribbled out. I thought maybe the lines were clogged so i disconnected them and blew them out with compressedair. this still didnt solve my problem. Am i missing something? my brakes worked fine before i removed the wheel.

Is there a loop in brake line above master cylinder with the club man bars? B)

Just to check, have you bled brakes before, such that you know that you're using the proper procedure? I've definitely seen people try to bleed brakes the wrong way, and you don't get very far. Not meant to be offensive, just figure it's best to start at the simplest solution when troubleshooting.

Same procedure really. You've got me stumped then. If you don't mind running through a bunch of brake fluid maybe see if trying the old brake line helps anything. Maybe there's a leak or some such. That's about the only thought I've got though. Hopefully someone else chimes in.

my frustration has reaced its boiling point . nothing is working. there is zero pressure. when i repeatedly squeeze the brake, hold and open the bleeder, the fluid barely trickles out. ihave tried 3 different master cylinders. The caliper pistons don't even move and they are definitely not seized.

Did you try bench bleeding the master cylinder?
Ive also left bleeder valve open and just let them gravity bleed themselves to get the process started before, just make sure to keep it topped off and dont touch the lever while the valves are open B)

bench bleeding? I noticed when i take the line off the caliper and pull the lever, the fluid doesn't flow out smoothly . It comes out sporadically, mixed with air, and with very little pressure. This makes me think that all 3 master cylinders I tried are shot. Does this make sense?
