Just adding a specific amount of fork oil doesn't ensure the fork oil level in both tubes is equal or correct. You will need to know what the fork oil level should be, and this can be found in the Kawasaki Service Manual. You measure this with the front wheel elevated off the ground and the forks fully extended. Then you measure from the top of the fork tube to the fork oil (with the springs in place) using a wood dowel or other appropriate tool and adjust the oil level until it matches the spec in the Kawasaki Service Manual. You then ride around a bit to let everything settle into place than check again. I find 15w Bel-Ray fork oil works really well. Ed

progressive fork springs are not too much $$$ and will help too.....just saying...most folks dont know or care enough to check the fork oil,or can even take the caps off......

Be sure to loosen the upper triple tree clamps when trying to remove the fork caps; otherwise they can be REALLY hard to unscrew. Ed
