Looks like a good price and they are supposedly made in the USA. May buy a 3/8 and 5/8 just for fitment check with the new swing arm.

I think 5/8" you have to clearance the frame? That is why I was thinking of taking the 3/8" and milling the rear hub .200" to get it in line. I am running a ZRX1200 rear suspeion and wheel like you are.

Cory

i heated the inner frame tube area and squeezed it flat on the inside to improve clearance. i also milled the hub to get it lined up.

So you had to use the 5/8" and mill the rear hub?

Yes , so i ended up with a 170 tire. but u could shim the rim instaed and run the rim off center and keep the 180 or larger tire.

I run 5/8 offset and 180 tyre with 8mm machined off the rear sprocket carrier to align (ZX7 wheels).
With a 530 chain there is plenty of clearance and no chain fouling issues with either frame or tyre.
I also run the same setup on my Z1R but with a 630 chain and although everything is very close nothing actually touches.
Also with the 5/8 offset and over i would strongly recommend running an outrigger bearing.

Was that from D&G Mark? My offset sprocket was $165 for an 18 tooth 530. I wonder if it being a 1.24" offset had anything to do with the higher cost? Hmmmm.

That is why I want to run the 3/8" sprocket up front to keep from having to run an outer support bearing for the output shaft. I know a guy on the ZRX forum (Chris) has a complete ZRX1100 (That ran the 170 tire) rear suspension on the MKII chassis and he used the 3/8" front with the .200" milled rear hub to have everything in alignment. I also know he milled equal .040" off each side of the swing arm pivot tube to get it to fit instead of milling a full .080" off one side.
