Help!! Need VIN Reference Ranges

I'm checking into buying a used KZ1000 and want to validate the range for it. The bike is an 82 KZ1000 LTD and I used to know where I could validate that the frame and engine were within the range.

ok the good ole way....vin (japan mfr) jkakzck1v ca006901-009805 (usa mfr)jkakzck1v cb 500001-503000....engine range kztoojeo19201-034189...i sure hope i typed that all correctly.lol
