Correct me if I am wrong but can't he just use a MC off a police bike? There are a ton of those in salvage.

You could use lots of differant master cylinders if you really want the 5/8 bore, even 1 of those late 70s 650s without the tailpiece(help me out here 650 guys! :woohoo: )with dual discs would work B)

Here is a picture of the 1977 KZ650-C1 front master cylinder. It has a 5/8" bore and operates dual disks. After 1977 they changed the shape, so these C1 units are the only round KZ650 units made for dual disks. The 1977 KZ650-B1 also has a round cylinder, but those are for single disks so they are not 5/8". The KZ650-C2 and C3 also have dual disks, but their MC are not round. Ed

Yes; that's a KZ650-SR model. They made those in 1978 - '79 (D1, D1A, D2). They use the same dual disk trapezoidal MC as the C2 and C3; so theirs should work. Ed

I feel like I'm asking a lot here... hahaha My criteria keeps getting stricter and stricter.

Any 5//8" round, single-piece (no plastic reservoir) master cylinders? Virtually identical to the single disc 1/2" version, but with a larger bore.

I saw one on z1parts.net: z1parts.net/product/kawasaki-z1-900-kz90...r-assembly-43015-032
2000 ZRX 1100
1976 KZ 900- Daily Driver
1980 LTD 550- Dalton Highway survivor!

If it has tits or tires, it'll give you problems!
