I'd like to replace the stock 19" spoked wheel with an 18" spoked wheel, to enhance the looks and performance of what is now a cafe racer. Is it feasible to purchase an 18" rim and shorter spokes (and where might one do so?), or is there a better solution (perhaps buying the rim and use the existing spokes by cutting and re-threading them)?

eastcoastwheels.com also has multiple rims you could run, and their prices are cheaper as are their setup fees.

I used an 18in spoked front wheel from a KZ400. If you have dual front brakes you will need to remove one of your calipers and rotors to make it work. the KZ400 uses a single disc set-up. I found mine on E-Bay for less than 50 bucks.Hope this helps.
