I'm thinking probably no. The seat seems thinner and you would have to bend it and it might not reach. I would wait and look for one on ebay. KZ1100,Spectre, and probably a KZ750 LTD would most likely work if you can't find a 1981-82 kz1000 ltd. However, someone parts out one of our bikes about every week.
