Fork brace was created by XL777
Im thinking of removing the front fender and I noticed that it acts like a brace. Is this required for proper handling? I know Tarozzi offers racing braces but for road use is the fender required for stability?

Yes, necessary.

FastFromThePast.com has braces, although I don't think I for one would want to ride without a front fender.

personally, i think it depends on the type of riding u plan to do. for casual street riding, i would feel completely comfy with no fender. I’m sure it does add rigidity but is it necessary? Take it off, go for a spin, and see if u can notice a dif.
if u feel uncomfy without it, there r brace options out there.
look at all of those old choppers with super long forks. just something u get used to.

Make sure going without a front fender is legal. Many moons ago on my old BSA I went without one and got a ticket. To add insult to the injury, I was going to put it back on that day anyway because I was tired of having road slop thrown all over me and the bike AND what's worse - the cop didn't seem to care at all that I had no headlight or mufflers of any type and no functioning front brake. But that dude was really concerned about the fender.

You're right! I had to use the Fred Flintstone foot brakes sometimes!
