Custom Chain Guard - any ideas?

I need to find a decent chain guard similar to the one pictured...any ideas? My new swingarm is extended and does not have tabs for a chain guard and is already chrome plated. The pictured guard mounts to the swingarm and the rear shock bolt, which is perfect, but it's too short from the shock to the rear of the guard. I have searched high and low with no luck. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

how about drawing a pattern for what you need and taking it to a shetmetal shop and have them make you one?

I wish I could draw a pattern, but I don't think I could. If I could get the metal cut, it looks like it would be real easy to bend into shape. I need one of those fancy cutting machines like they have on OCC

I am also considering buying the pictured chain guard, cutting 3-4 inches off the front and having it welded on the back. That would make it just about perfect. I don't know if I'd be able to blend it enough to make it look right before chroming though.

I was hoping someone would say, "Check out this website, they have what you need". That would be easy!

No Drag racers out there?? Anyone know where to get a chain guard? Just thought I'd try one more time...

Thanks for the info. I do like the looks of that, but do you have any idea how it would mount? There is some strange looking hardware there!

Took me a minute...but now I got it.... "chain guard" :laugh: very funny, there always one in the crowd!! (usually it's me!)

depends on ho elaborate you want to get ,shouldnt cost too much though.

Universal guard from dennis kirk, I think it's just a little different than the one you pictured.
