Centerstand ?

Centerstand ?

I have a really hard time getting my bike on the centerstand by myself. Anyone have a technique or tip that can help me out.

Assuming you have a grab rail next to seat - right hand on grab rail; left hand on left handlebar grip (to steady front fork, don't pull with left hand); right foot on centerstand tang. Then push down hard with your foot while you pull the bike up and back toward the taillight. You don't really lift the bike with your hand, you just pull it hard toward the rear and it will "cam" up onto the stand. Once you get the hang of it you won't remember why it seemed hard before. Ed

Thanks for the link to the other thread and the lifting tips! Much easier with the board! Got oil/filter changed, clutch adjusted, chain adjusted, spark plugs checked, still working down the checklist.
