Brake line suppliers

I have procrastinated long enough and am starting to worry that I will be able to get my bike running but will not be able to stop it :woohoo:

I've been checking with some of the suppliers that have been mentioned here and this is what I have so far.

I'm looking for braided S.S. plastic coated brake lines that are premade for my stock kz 1000

Russel ; To big to talk to me and I guess I need to find a local dealer, which means more time and money than I want to spend right now. www.russellperformance.com/motorcycle/dl/07RussMetricCat.pdf

Cycle Brakes ; has Galfers with all the banjo bolts and washers for around 160.00 ( I'm guessing )
www.cyclebrakes.com/html/galfer_brake_lines.html

Apex Brakes ; I have sent them 2 emails asking about the connection size 10 mm x 1.25 ,washer availability , turn around time , and if there is a number that I can reach some at, but they have not gotten back to me.
apexbrakes.com/custom.asp

Their order form is very easy to understand and use but it only says 10 mm .
I don't want to get the wrong stuff.
I really like their prices and I don't need new bolts.

Any incite on another supplier or how to work with one of these would be appreciated.

Be sure to specify the correct angles for the connectors. I've seen some installations where the wrong connectors were used resulting in the brake lines sticking out at weird angles. Ed

i have used the universal russell lines from Z1E. they worked fine.
i also have the custom Galfers from Cycle brakes, wich are fine.
i'd say, for cost go with Z1E, for custom colors go with Galfer.

Thanks for the great responses,

When I talked to the guy at Z1E I was under the impression that they didn't sell them.
I must have been mistaken.

I would love to use Rusell lines , they're American made I think.
So I have to put them together, no big deal right ?
Do the ends just spin on ?

I have to give them a call tomorrow any ways so this will work out great !

Lengths , angles and orientation of the ends all figured out .

I would have liked to use Red line more because they are in the Chicago area , but with as much money as I've been throwing at this project it just isn't frugal paying another 8 percent state tax.
I know they have some real nice stuff.

Thank you MFolks , I have a lot to read tonight.
