kz-gsxr front end
09 Mar 2012 22:17 - 09 Mar 2012 22:45
so i decided to to a front end swap I used a 1992 gsxr 750, bottom neck baring worked strait swap.
I had a machine shop make me a special nut fro upper triple, that would recess down into bairing.
worked great.
I also put a 81-ltd 750 swing arm on and fabricated the mount for rear master.
works great its a 16" rim.
the rim om my front end is a 17" but it has the stock tire from the gsxr on it. and it is a low pro.
so i would like some options to equal out the front with the rear.
A# could I just get a bigger tire installed on rim?
B# i think the rim is bent so is there a rim- tire that would work with that front end?
c# or is there a front end ie (forks-rim-rotor-caliper that would fit the gsxr triple i put in?
i would like longer forks becuase they are short and work but with the bolt on hand grips the rideing position it low, like like around the top of tank.
any help would be great,
ps i no there has to be a gsxr front end that will slip into the 750 triple just dont no witch one

nice looking bike good job
if your delimma is putting a taller tire on there what size is your front tire 120/70?? you can get a taller tire a 120/90
if its your ride angle you can get some handlebat risers and put a set of super bars or drag bars and thet would help
hell do both

thanks i still have some work to do.
it just seams like it handleing is kinda short.
i like the front end, and i thin the 16 in rim goes well with the front, just dont like the slim tire, would like to ballance it out.
i think your right, i need to get the handle bars up a little.
so you would you get rid of the bolt on handle bars. how would i get handle bars on there.
there is no handle bar mounts.
