I Can't believe i'm asking this!!!

I'm doing a front end swap on a Z650 soon but some wheels have came up at good money now, thing is they're non speedo cable wheels & i'd love to keep the original clocks that are on the bike or use 750 Zephyr ones.

So, is it possible to use non speedo drive wheels yet keep a working speedo? Failing that have you guys any suggestions for some O/E looking clocks/instrumentation that don't need cable drive?

Hope thats clear!!

It's common to bend the drive tangs on the speedo drive out sideways then cut opposing slots in the lip around the bearing for the drive tangs to fit into. Then make/modify the appropriate spacers.
