Hey guys. I am going to start on my wheels soon for my rebuild and I was wondering about spokes. I am looking for sets of new SS front and rear spokes. I saw a few guys here had mentioned Buchanan's, but is there any other place to get them? It looks like they would run like $115-$125 for each set on their website if I am understanding the price list correctly.
Does that sound about right? Is this a good price or can I get better deal elsewhere?
I have a place nearby (Quality Chrome Plating) that will do my rims, hubs, re-lace, and true both wheels for $350 total. But he said it would be a better idea to just buy new SS spokes to replace the old ones. So that is where I'm at right now.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
