Has anybody changed there front brake master and brake lever unit to a smaller less bulky unit? If so please share on the year and model used and the performance of your brakes.

Not a lot smaller but works fine, had one for 5 years now with no problems and great braking (SS lines made the brakes come alive!)

I picked one up off of a 01 sv650 with ss lines for $60 shipped, haven't got it on yet, but should work just fine, sorry if I'm jacking this thread , but can I run direct lines to the calipers? My mc came with individual lines for left and right calipers.
