rear brakes

Hi I have a 1980 mk11 that I have put a zx6 rear swingarm and wheel on but as I want to keep the twin shock look I have run into a problem with the rear brake. The brake calliper sits where I want the shock. I have noticed some bikes have gone to an underslung rear brake which would solve this problem. Is it just a case of changing the carrier ? If so what carrier do I need ? Or are there any other suggestions? thanks in advance.

Just looking at a picture of mine and I see your delimma.

Just a thught why couldnt you have a mount made just like the one you have only the slot on the reverse side so when you mount it the brake would be on the bottom?

not sure thats a viable alternative but running it through my head it should work

Yes I may have to make a reverse image bracket . I was just trying to be lazy with the hope that there was one I could just slip on.
