Can someone please post a shot of the diagram for the front wheel assembly for an 1980 KZ1000 LTD or similar models. :whistle:

what part is giving you trouble,the speedo drive still?
posting from deep under a non-descript barn in an undisclosed location southwest of Omaha.

Yes the speedo drive sleeve, just making sure it didn't have a circlip on the outside like the ones on later models.

I was pretty much just wanting to know what all held the speedo drive (sleeve) on and as the diagrams and pic show it is just sitting inside the wheel cap that covers the disc rotor. That is how I put it back together but was just wanting to make sure.

That's it. it just sits there under that 4 bolt hole, chrome cover that covers the disc.
The axle holds em in place.

Livin in "CheektaVegas, NY
Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.
Starts everytime!
