Drag Bar and front brake reservoir

I would like to know if there is an easy fit front reservoir/brake lever setup when you swap to a drag bar on an 81kz1000. The current one is waaaay to bulky to fit.

I have added three inches to the middle of dragbars before to make room. Now I just use Daytona bars.

Saves putting dents in the gas tank. Roy

Thanks for the advice. Ive looked at ebay and its a little hard to tell if they would work. I think Ill go look at bikes at a dealer and see what ones will work and then get specific on the ebay search.

Thanks for the lengthening advice. I may just make a set to fit if I need to and also adjust the fork stops to get rid of the tank slap.

Superbike bars on a KZ750 twin (same frame size as the 1000) for reference.


Hose requires minor routing changes but does fit. Gives you another option.

The easiest thing to do is put on some bar risers. It will get you up over the fork cap and keep you from denting the tank with the throttle cables.
