76' KZ400 front wheel

I love the look of the spoke wheels on my dad's 76 KZ400D3. He has a cafe and a parts bike that are both the same year. He said i could have the front end and wheels off of the parts bike. Just about everything i listed is cooler than what my 81' KZ1000LTD has. I would like to swap the front and rear wheels.. Yes, i am willing the get rid of hydraulic breaks to make the beast look cooler. I know i wouldn't have dual disk anymore in the front if i did this, just single. but even the caliper and master cylinder look cooler than the stock LTD1000 ones do. Do you guys think i could get this to work without swapping the forks and swing arm? I also still want to do my current gearing in the back.. not sure how many teeth are on the sprocket. Whatever it is, its close to stock.

completely differant,youd never be able to stop it even if you could somehow get axles/wheel bearings to adapt.
im going to be in sioux city friday hopefully to pick up stuff at plating shop,ill call you when im in your area. B)

sounds good man, you still got my number right? i figured the drum breaks and single disk thing would be an issue. Oh well:D maybe ill just keep on the lookout for some spoke CSR1000 wheels. Spoke is way cooler than mag.

Any chance that front wheel is 18"???
I am trying to find a set of 40 spokes for an 18" wheel ring.
I have a 1.65 x 18 x 40 spoke Kawasaki ring. Don't know what it is from.
Gonna lace it to a KZ 4 bolt disc hub from a KZ 1000
I want cheap zinc coated steel spokes.
I don't want to spend $110 fo Buchanon's.
It is for an 18" front drag bike wheel and slick combo.
I think the smaller Kaws might have an 18" front

If you wanted them, i would have to talk to may dad about it. if im not using it, he might want them for something... In the meantime, ill take a look on ebay for you and post a link on this thread if i find anything.
