Front end conversion

So I have a 1980 KZ1000 ST. Thinking of swapping the front end out for a newer style with clip on bars, new wheel, etc., in short, a whole new front end. Anybody know of any front ends that are compatible without too much fabrication? Thanks!

There is some crotch rocket front end thats a pretty common swap. Its either a gsxr or a r6.

lemme google it real quick

EDIT

Just noticed yours is a 1000. I dont know if that makes a difference

Down load the K&L supply catalog, find the section with steering stem bearings. Find the size of your bearings then compare to other bikes and what you can get your hands on. The stem diameter is the most important. Make swap.

There is a PDF down load on the bottom of that page...
