Still looking for reproduction VIN sticker
20 Sep 2011 21:41
My 1978 Z1R project is winding down with lots of parts procured in the last 3 weeks including the Holiest of Holy grails; a NOS seat in original Kawasaki box! OK, I paid waaaay too much but I had to have it. My paint is a 10 out of 10 and my seat was showing it age. I needed to complete the NEW look.
Found some harder to come by things like R master cylinder cap and diapragm and even found a complete set of reporductions stickers that will allow me now strip the helmet lock and replace the daily service and maintenance stickers.
The last thing I now need is the VIN replicated... Mine got scorched during frame powder-coat
I heard a member named Kid Kawie made them and I PM'd him but no reply.
Anyone/

There is a guy in England that does Z1 stuff or Alan at Z-spares in Oz down under.
If you had a picture or a file, any graphic decal place can do it.

take a good digital pic and go to your local sign shop truck lettering or graphpics shop the equiptment they have is awsome for printing decals stickers etc... You said yours was toast find a pic of one they can upload/scan and put the correct yr vin info wont be able to tell the difference My Exwife owns a graphics company with her new husband and basically can reproduce whatever I need so I am sure your local guy can
