Help !! Frozen Brake Pedal

My rear brake pedal is stuck on the shaft it pivots on. Nut & washers have been removed. There is some up/down movement...but minimal. Tried heating with a torch (not to the point of being red hot, but warm) seems to be getting worse.....anyone got any suggestions ??

Drench in Kroil or 50-50 ATF/acetone solution, or Liquid Wrench or PBBlaster, several periodic applications, allow to soak at least overnight, or longer, keep allying the penetrant at intervals.

Could later try using a gear puller, or applying pressure from the rear while hitting the shaft.

Good Fortune! :)

Thanks for your responses. Friday & Saturday continued spraying with PBblaster. Sunday I started moving it as much as possible....thought I was going to have a stroke, seeing how I was all bentover, giving it all I had. Finally I got a little more movement out of it, 90 minutes later I finally got it off.....crap!!! That was work !! Cleaned it up, lubed with some grease & it works great. Bled the brakes and finally took the bike on a maiden voyage around the neighborhood. It's first time on the street in 20 years.
