will a 140/90 work on a stock '78 kz1000 rear

I bought these rims with tyres. The front has good tread and is 90/90. The rear is a 160/90 with a spacer to clear the chain. Im want to go with a smaller rear tyre and try to match up the rear tread with the front. I can only find a 140/90 for the rear. I know the stock rear mag is 130/90. Just need opinions if going up 10mm is okay and if it wont interfere with the chain.
I have a 1978 kz1000 LTD B2. With stock mag wheels. Front rim is 19 and rear is 16

These are the best tires made for the money you will pay. Do NOT use the old tire on the rim. bike tires are good for only at most 4 years mounted and about three years exposed to sun light. Front should be a 1.25-19(you can mount the wider 90/90-19 if you wish) The rear should be a MT90-16.
