81 KZ550 parts and 81 550 ltd parts should be the same right. So if I order A master cylinder kit for A kz it should fit my ltd.

Some brakes had different angled reservoirs because the handlebars were different angles. Especially between KZ's and Kz LTD's.

You can go to the Kawasaki web site and check parts for each model to see if they are the same. Or let me check my handy dandy cross reference software... lemme see now....
Well the master cylinder assemblies are different, but they seem to share the same master cylinder piston. I don't know what other part numbers belong in there,
If you pull up the part numbers from the Kaw website I'll run them for you
