Z1R swingarm fit on a GPZ1100B2 frame?
08 Aug 2011 20:49
I have an eye on a Calfab swingarm. It is now on a 78 Z1R.
Does anyone know if a swingarm from a Z1r can be swap on a GPZ1100B2?
Thanks

If the Z1R arm is the same with as all the other 73-80 Kz900/1000 arms then it's 235mm wide at the pivot. Not sure on the length though.

From what I understand, it would be the same except for the bike that have a brake drum instead of the disk brake.
Am I right?

yes.
but with a couple minutes with a cutoff wheel and 5 minuntes with a welder,it can be a disk brake or drum brake swingarm  .
there is a different brake anchor tab depending on which it is for.
that shouldn't slow you down  .
