help with seat options for my kz750? was created by newowner79kz750b1
i have a stock kz750 but i plan on turning into a cafe style bike this winter. i plan on doing something with the seat this winter also. just not sure what. i want it long enough that i can ride my wife if i need to but still look stylish. if i buy a fiberglass seat the part that u would sit on needs to be around 28". which i havent been able to find anything seats with that amount of room. so im thinking maybe turning my stock seat into the shape that i want. i dont want to do any fiberglassing though. just need some idea or any help would be appreciated! thanks everyone.

Don't tear up the seat in the pic! I'll send you a seat that needs recovered and something else for your twin in exchange for that one.

I saw your wanted ad for a seat pan, but figured maybe someone else would be interested in your luggage rack.

Same exact seat came on my 750 twin. When the cover rotted out way back in 1984, I got a seat rebuild kit from JC Whitney that had the cover and foam attached to go on the pan which turned it into a "dual" seat instead of one long banana seat. Nice to have the backstop to keep your butt from sliding back.

All 76-80 750 twin seat pans are the same, and I have 3 or 4 extra seats, only a couple of good ones though, the others have rotted seat covers.

I intensely dislike that double seat design, at 6'4" I end up sitting on top of that butt stop, and that's just not real comfortable. The stock KZ750G seat is sorta like a king and queen seat, and I can't stand it for the same reason.
