Front suspension and swing arm
07 Aug 2011 23:39
Hello I'm pretty new to KZR but I'm looking for some help. I have a 83' KZ750 cafe project I'm working on and I want to put on a more modern front end and rear swing arm. Does anyone know of a new bike that would match up well to a 83 KZ frame?

There was one model of 83 KZ750 twin (Belt drive), and four models of 83 KZ750 four.
Which model do you have?

Welcome to the forum. Most any modern forks can be fit by changing the steering stem; that is, use the stock stem in the new triple clams. Some fabrication may be needed, such as new headlight and instrument cluster mounts. If a front end off a naked bike , like ZRX, is used, then less fabricating will be needed. Search this forum and you will find a bunch of threads on front end / fork conversions.

Thank for the reply. The front end is off. I plan on doing a totally new front end. Lights, gauges I just wanted to something more modern and progressive. I wanted to find something that will mount right up to the stock stem.
