From what I gather, there are two versions of these dual piston rear caliper setups. I'm not sure where the year divide is, but:
organic brake pads with uninsulated pistons and a shim
and
scintered metal brake pads with insulated pistons and no shim
The one on my bike had the shims and no insulated pistons. When I bought replacement pistons, they came with the insulated stuffing.
It should work fine to use these in my calipers by simply removing the shim, right?
