Start a thread under the Parts Wanted category. I'm sure quite a few old guys around here have single disc splitters lying around. B)

I resemble that remark!!!

I've put the search for a single splitter on hold for the moment. Might stick with the dual discs. Lots of decisions to make with a "new" KZ.

Might as well provide a picture of it.

You can get a steel braided brake line for pretty cheap, why not just upgrade and replace the whole line? I think there is a seller on ebay doing it for like $41 for two lines. (F/R, two bikes, whatever)

Right now I'm just trying to figure out what will work on it. Just bought a set of KZ750 discs on E-bay (undrilled). If they fit the forks and wheel, I may run dual discs or convert it to single disc. Just want to see how it all comes together.

When that's done I'll decide on changing the line. Definitely going to put a braided line. I bled the brakes and there is so much sponginess in the lever from those 35 year old rubber lines.

Got the KZ750 discs in the mail yesterday. They are the same diameter and 6mm. Also picked up a single line splitter for about $20 on e-bay.

Sent an inquiry to z1enterprises about a braided line. Want to find out about running the line from the splitter directly to the caliper (no steel pipe like the stocker).

Also cleaned the 29mm smoothbores last night. The bike needs a lot of work but the smoothbores alone made it worth the price.

Yep.
Kapahulu, if you change wheels, save the mags. If they're original, they're made by Morris, and may be worth some $$ to someone. Morris mags have a little "M" inside a circle, somewhere on the rim, I think.

The front and back wheels (spoke) just came in the mail this week. It may take me a few weeks to get these wheels on since there are so many other things to take care of on this KZ.

Thanks for the tip, I will check the mag wheels.

I'm looking for a dual front disc system if you don't want to keep your set up. (I'd keep it if I were you though :P ).
