does anyone know where i can order a custom length speedometer cable? i moved my gauge and the cable is way too long. tried shorten one i had laying around and all i accomplished was making garbage.

Jeez, you got that speedo low enough? Maybe you could skip the cable altogether; stick the speedometer right to the axle!:laugh:

How long is that one you have there now?
Saturday I went to Sportland 2 with my old, too long cable, and the second guy I asked (I think his name was Tom) actually took the time to get me one that was 6" shorter like I asked for. My old one was 36" the new one is 30". I dont have the part number anymore so I dont know what it came from.

Hey Matt,
I just took a look at your close up picture. I wondering if you should play around with or mock up a few lengths of cable to determine the optimal length- so it doesn't bend or kink, but still has play to absorb the total fork travel? I know that is a crappy sentence, but you must know what I'm getting at. Just a thought...
