After much lame amateur diagnosing, i found it was the belt and front sprocket. It sure did sound like the front... but i guess that spot can make it sound like is comes from anywhere. The belt and sprocket are fine, just needed some cleaning as the teeth of the belt were sort of popping into the nooks of the sprocket, making the rattle. It sounds better now, but not perfectly quiet. Eventually i may need to replace the belt, but if thats the case the whole bike is probably ruined and i might as well get something else as i only spent like $800 on this thing and a $400 belt plus labor wouldnt be worth it.

A few belt driven bike owners have converted back to chain drives. I'm not sure of the price as it will require a new engine(countershaft) sprocket,chain, & rear wheel sprocket.
