Messed up allignment
06 Jun 2011 13:08
so earlier today i was turning into my gravel driveway and i came in to sharp and layed my bike down(1982 kz440) and now the handlebars and speedo/tech are crooked to ware the front wheel is. I cant figure out how(if possible) to readjust it back to normal. If anyone could give me some advice it would be much appreciated.
thanks
P.S. i dont think the forks are bent or anything because it still rides good just the handlebars are crooked.

If it's not too badly tweaked, loosening the fasterners holding the front end on the bike and then giving it a twist should line it up again. Don't forget to tighten up the bolts/screws when done.
The tripple tree, & possibly the axle should be loosened enough to allow movement.
