I've got an 82 kz1100. I want to change the shaft drive oil. I know to use 80w, but how much do I need?

Prop the bike straight up and pump in enough gear lube till it flows out. I use AMSOIL synthetic gear oil. In my very subjective opinion, it's way slicker and therefore way faster. Course what do I know, only been using it for twenty-five years.
