Front Sprocket ??? was created by badrhino
I am converting to a 530 and took off my old 630 front sprocket and noticed it has notches for the lock nut washer on it and the new 530 sprocket does not. So what washer do I use to put it back together now? The old set up has three pieces (looks like a normal washer, and then two lock tab washers)as shown in picture.
Do I need to get a different type of washer now to bend tabs over the nut so it doesn't come loose?

You dont need to use the lock washer without anything for it to grab onto.
In this case, I've used one washer and the bolt with success for the last several years use.
Generously use some blue thread locker and torque it down to 60 ft lbs.

A lot of aftermarket sprockets (junk in my opinion) don't have the indentation for the lock washer. I would definitely use a lock washer (new is prefered) and just bore a hole in the sprocket where needed. Ed
