are they interchangable discs ?

I have a 1980 LTD 1000, & would like to know if I can use the discs from a 1978 Z1R 1000, that have the double drilled holes, without having to do any modifications ?
1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!

yes they will fit,is the pattern drilled in rotors any differant?

thanks, Wireman,...they both have a 4 bolt pattern.

thanks for the compliment,...I cant wait till I get all the parts back that I sent out to get chromed..1500.00 worth...plus I"m customizing the seat...motor has too much 2 list..too ..bad for me that the summer will be half way over.

i mean the pattern thats drilled into the rotors themselves,76-78 non ltd or z1r bikes had plain old rotors with no holes drilled in them

Just don't mix the back with the rear disc, the back has a different offset.

yep the 78 z1r had its own pattern drilled in rotors,the 79-80 z1r carried same part number on the rotors as the 79-80 1000ltd.
although ive never actually seen a 79 that i can remember
