changng fork oil and... was created by Treewizard
didnt get verry far because right under the dust cap was a brass colored plug with a dimple in the mddle of it, can pop the plug down a bit with a screw driver but t dosent seem to be getting me closer to gettng t off
and of cource thr FSM just says 'tade it apart' and clymer isnt much better
unless im mssng something , how do get it further apart?

maybe a more experianced person who understands how it works with actual first hand experiance could explain it.
if you need actual first hand experiance with removing a threaded in fork cap by all means ask away! :woohoo:

i dont know how to tell you for sure since ive never actually owned a 750 that had a set of forks that required you to push in on the little plug on top of fork tube while prying out the small circlip with a small straight screw driver like you would use to work on a thermostat while being carefull not to let the circlip fly away and get lost.Treewizard wrote: crclip it is, so..

Push the cap down until you see the clip, remove the clip with a pick.
