And here is the list as a webpage with the formating intact, makes it a bit easier to read. I tried to post it in the filebase, but it wouldn´t allow me to post a htm file - can any of the admin do it for me?

Your point about questions being asked OVER AND OVER AND OVER hasn't escaped me since I seem to answer too many of these. At some point, we should consider a "TECH FAQ" where we compile these questions and put them down in a question and answer form. This would make easier reading than reading the whole Filebase. The most frequently read/downloaded filebase articles could also be removed from the Filebase and put in the Articles section... lots of potential with this new site!

One question you've answered many times is: "I just picked up a bike, what mechanical work should I perform?" (like in this thread, and countless others, including the old forum). If I were to try to write up something this weekend that summarized some of your responses, would you mind checking it over for accuracy so I could submit it as an article?Your point about questions being asked OVER AND OVER AND OVER hasn't escaped me since I seem to answer too many of these. It might also make sense to start a thread in the site discussion forum, and every time someone comes across a question that gets asked a lot, they could mention it there as a potential article. It would make it easier for those of us who'd like to contribute in some way to know where to start.

OK I agree that this stuff is good info, but now that it's in the file base, can we unsticky this thread so that it fades away?
