Front brake rotors

Hey all, could someone tell me if the mounting surface on the dual brakes is the same width and bolting pattern as on the singles. I know the rotor itself is a different thickness, but i'd like to know about the mounting area. Thanks.

PS-I'm hoping to have some pics up tonight of my progress with my frame and engine. I've stripped my bike and am re-building her, making her look and function better.

Dunno, but a member here, OnkelB, has done a 650 conversion. I think his info is in the file base, or you can PM him.

On the 650, 750 twins, and 77-80 1000's they appear to be, I have used two thick (single disk brake rotors) from the 750 twin, two single disk rotors from a 1000, two dual disk rotors from a 1000, and two dual disk rotors from a 650, all on the same wheel on the same bike (at different times of course) :)

Cool, thanks man. I'm gonna machine a spacer to go on my new alloy for now I think, go to duals later when I have more of the cash. It'll be nice if I can use a single, so I wont have to look for a whole dual setup.
