Swingarm Needle Bearing Kit? was created by s3steve
I bought one of these kits...

And I'm just wonder which way do the washers go?

The only instructions that came with it are in German and there's no diagram.

One set of washers are solid and the other seems to have a washer that is free to spin inside the other.

Do the solid ones go on the swingarm side or the frame side?

Would you like the bolt to move or your swing arm?

it looks to me from your picture that the bigger washer gets installed against the swingarm, according to the recess on it anyway.
then the smaller washer goes against the sleeve welded into frame for pivot bolt, again judging by size of recess.
judge a semi educated guess anyway.

The older style swingarms with the bronze bushings are narrower than the ones with bearings. The flat washers are to make up the difference in length. They go on first and then the endcaps.

Thanks for your reply wireman.:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I was just looking for a quick answer from someone who has used this set before. The plain washer fits inside the recess of larger ones.

I'll translate the German instruction and try fitting the set once I paint the swingarm.
