I bought a project bike and need front turn signals the question is are the b1 and b2 signals the same also is there a sight that has alot of pictures and info on this bike?

"Forum Search" (virtually any subject)
Off-site, lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.

If you have a 78 then it is a B2. The B1 was a 77. IIRC The signals are different in that the B2 bulbs are dual elements in front as they had running lights that the B1 did not.
All of the suggestions given by patton are right on. I will add that there are many here who have 650s and will be able to provide you with knowledge and about them. I would add that you may want to also check out www.kz650.info - it is a forum just about the 650s. AS to other info and pics of the different kz650 models you may want to check out jarlef.no/Kawasaki/Series/Z/650/z650visitor.htm
