Anybody had their shock shafts rechromed?

once when i was really drunk i might have...never could remember and really dont like to wonder about it

if you do the local chrome shop route make sure they have done shock shafts or hyd.cylinders before so they will be able to centerless grind the shafts to remove scores and nicks.then they build the chrome back up.it is not just a re-dip in the chrome tank.

I'll see what the local place can do. I know that there is one near me.

check with a shop that does hard chrome

I sent them to race tech, I have no idea who they send them out to for re-chroming.
