I have an 82 CSR 1000 with rusted out spoked wheels, and want to switch this over to mag wheels, I've noticed a spacer between the brake rotor and the wheel. Will IO have to get a mag with this same spacer, or can I take the spacer and disc assembly off of mine?

If you get a mag wheel off an 81-82 KZ1000 LTD it ought to be a bolt on. I have not tried it myself though.

To start, you could check the wheel bearimgs list in the FileBase and see if both models are listed there, if not then check buykawasaki.com for the wheel bearing sizes for both models. That will tell you if the axles are the same diameter. As far as wheel width and spacers, you are on your own :)

I will tell you I tried to buy the CSR1000 you bought but you beat me to it ,, I was only 60 miles away /// :) Shoeman
