Wow! You mean I'm wasting my money putting that expensive 10,000 lb tensile strength X-ring 530 chain on my 150 rwhp ZX11??? Crap! Just think of all the money I could have saved by putting that cheap industrial #50 chain on it!
Man, I'm totally bummed out now
Industrial #50 chain might be ok for a 550, as long as you don't mind doing lots of adjusting as it stretches, and you lube it every day, and replace it often. But I wouldn't run it on my 750 twin, and not even on a bet on the 11

First you got to decide which size chain you are going with. Then match your sprockets to the size and ratio you want. Z1ent has a handy dandy calculator for ratios. Then you have to measure your rear bolt pattern for the right sprocket. Then decide on std-o ring - x ring - w ring. Then are you going to rivet or master clip. Now the really hard part starts. Mounting it. $20 for specialty pliers seems overkill but 3 smashed knuckles, 2 blood blisters and 2 tons of mental anguish later $20 don't seem too bad.
Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.
