750 spectre forks was created by mardude818
I want to swap out the air forks on my 1983 spectre 750 for a shorter set of forks plus i just don't like the air suspension. What 750 forks would best fit my needs? Does the 82 spectre have air forks as well?

cant you just plug the air fork caps?
im guessing your going to be limited by those leading axle forks as far as substitutes

My 82 1100 Spectre does. Unless you're willing to swap the triple trees, also, you'll have to stay with the leading axle fork legs.
Why don't you like the air forks?

How could I lower the front end of my bike?

On some models it's possible to mount the fork tubes higher in the triple clamp so that the fork tubes protrude about one inch above the clamp instead of being even with the clamp. Maybe slightly more than one inch.
Be mindful this will alter the steering geometry to produce qujcker (more nervous) steering, and more prone to head-shake. May be compensated, at least partially, by also lowering the rear suspension an equivalent amount.
Good Fortune!
