topic ^^ I was told they were magnesium but i'm not sure. anybody know?

Yep...Enkei 'mags' were an aluminum alloy (not sure of the exact composition, though).

Yeah, mag rims is a misnomer. Nobody would ever run mags on the street, too brittle.

If they were magnesium and they caught fire, we wouldn't be talking about rebuilding this bike. You would be lucky if you could still see.

I'd be willing to bet there are at least a couple (as in two) members riding on the street with magnesium wheels.

Well Steve, I didn't know they were, but they must have to be real careful, unless its some kind of mag-al alloy.
