Front End Assembly Identification was created by BiscuitRacing
Hello - was looking for some help identifying this front end. Here is a link for pictures s720.photobucket.com/albums/ww201/Fattyringo/

I have the information off the tire and rim but where to look on forks or other parts for accurate ID?

Tire: Dunlop Elite 2 491 130 x 70 B18 63H

Rim: Enkei Kawasaki 18 x 2.15TL

I figured the tire size and rim may help as they could have been stock?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to KZR!

That looks like it came from a Police bike. I'm pretty sure that those and the Z1R are the only ones with an 18" front. The fender and fork gaiters look to be from a police bike to my eyes.

Hey thanks! Gives me a start. Dont suppose you know what years KZ was making bikes for Police? They went back to Harleys, I thought?

HaHa they made police KZ's for a loooong time. I'm just guessing, but I think they span from 1978-2002.

From the 70's to the 2000's. Kz900 and Kz1000.

Edit: You beat me. But there was a police 900, also. So probably '75 or '76 to 2002.
