Chain size?

so from what i could find it says stock chain size is a 530.

i have a 81 kz650, upon opening up my new 530 chain i go to compare to my old chain and the 530 chain is tiny. it seems like my original chain has links that are almost twice the size of this 530 chain. Just to make sure... I need a 630 chain?????

nvm. finally found it. had to rummage through that site quite a bit. but yeah 630x84

u can also measure the links, 530 = 5/8. 630 = 3/4 in

BTW chain discussions are usually in the Chassis section
