160 rear tire on gpz550(it fits)

got around to fitting my widened gpz rim with a 160 radial tire on my 550.with a little trim to the swing arm it fits with clearance.this thing is going to ride sweet now.:)

how'd you do that man! can i do something like that on my 76 kz750 twin? what kind of rim and tire do i need? oh yeah the swing arm too

if you want to do a mod on your twin a suzuki gs1100 swing arm is what i used. i used a ltd1000 rear rim with a 140 bias ply tire.a160 is as big as you can go with the gs arm.here is a pic of my 76 750twin.

Smithgpz, I smell a write-up for the twin with the GS1100 swingarm. all the info you have and lots of pic's PLEASE!!!!!! also what type of paint or coating did you use on the motor?

If you search the archives, you will find a pretty complete description of everything he has done to the 750 twin.
Also the story of it's second place finish in the Mid Ohio bike show :)
