I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Sounds like you have a CSR100 rather than a KZ1000 Ltd, unless the previous owner changed the wheels?
CSR1000 came with spoked wheels and cable speedometer.

mopguy wrote: Thank you, you have been very helpful. I have ownership paper saying LTD. Bike however is half CSR as previous owner obviously did not have funds to fix the bike. I am restoring it to a LTD. Going are the spoke wheels and gauges that are on right now. I have found ooriginal electric gauges and and fuel gauge that attaches to fuel tankand the electric speed sensor and front mag wheel. Still looking for a rear mag wheel. When finished with bike I will post a picture. Thanks,Tony.
Any pics of the rims? I have a set of KZ1000 LTD Mags with Bridgestone Spitfires mounted on them. I might trade if yours are in decent shape.
Some one told me I should buy a bunch of horses once. I bought a bunch of bikes instead.
