Control levers

Hey guys, what are our options for different levers? (Brake and clutch) I'm grabbing a Superbike bar in a week or two (and shorter throttle cables and brake hoses) as well as a set of Throttlemeisters ( throttlemeister.com/ ). I think a somewhat more modern set of levers would set everything off!

I just had a look, and all three of my bikes have the same end on the clutch cable where it attaches to the lever. Seems like any new lever from a cable clutch bike should work. As for the brake side, you would need to switch to a master cylinder from the newer bike to make it work. That's actually not to bad of an option. I'm running a 95 GSXR master cylinder on my KZ1000 and it works fine. Just find something that fits a 7/8" diameter bar with the same size M/C piston and you should be fine. I don't know if anyone makes a replacement KZ brake lever that doesn't look stock.

Is there a place to find the bore and stroke of my M/C and to cross references which newer units are the same?

z1kz, I'd love to see a pic if you get the chance!

I was rooting through the PMC catalog the other day and came across a pair of levers. They aren't quite as "indented" as modern superbike levers are, but they are not flat like the stock levers are. I think if I got them powdercoated flat black, they'd be looking sharp!
